Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Friday at heyfriday.co (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free, premium, and premium+ subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Friday is an AI-powered voice and chat assistant. The Service enables you to interact with AI language models via text or voice. Responses are generated by third-party AI models (Groq, Google Gemini) and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. Friday is not a substitute for professional advice.

3. Account Registration

  • •You must provide a valid email address and keep your account credentials secure.
  • •You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • •You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • •One account per person. You may not share or transfer your account.
  • •We reserve the right to refuse registration or terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Credits and Subscriptions

  • •Free tier: Free accounts receive a daily allocation of chat credits that reset at midnight UTC. Free accounts access Llama models only.
  • •Premium / Premium+: Paid tiers unlock additional models and higher credit limits. Pricing is displayed at heyfriday.co/pricing.
  • •Credits: Credits are consumed per message. Unused credits do not roll over beyond the stated period. Credits have no cash value and are non-refundable.
  • •Payments: Payments are processed via Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
  • •Refunds: Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis within 7 days of purchase. Use the contact form on the FAQ page.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • •Generate content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights
  • •Attempt to bypass credit limits, rate limits, or authentication systems
  • •Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service in bulk
  • •Use the Service to train competing AI models without written permission
  • •Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
  • •Send spam, phishing content, or automated requests beyond normal use

6. AI-Generated Content

AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. Friday does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for how you use AI responses. Do not rely on Friday for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Friday name, logo, and platform are owned by Centific. You retain ownership of the content you input into the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your inputs for the purpose of delivering the Service. We do not claim ownership of your conversations.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or for any operational reason with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days unless required to be retained by law.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CENTIFIC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
